1Who we are
Merge Bakery is made by Jepsen Industries, the game studio of Alexander Jepsen, based in Denmark. You can reach us at legal@jepsenindustries.dk.
This policy currently covers Merge Bakery. When we release more games, we'll add them here.
2No accounts or servers
You don't sign up or log in. The game doesn't ask for your name, email address or any other contact details, and we don't run servers that collect data about you.
The game works offline. Only ads need an internet connection.
3Data on your device
Your game progress and settings are saved on your device and are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time with Reset save in the game's Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
The game contains no analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting.
4Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows banner ads on the Shop and Recipe Book screens, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects data such as your advertising ID, IP address, information about your device and the app, and how you interact with ads. Google decides how it uses this data. You can read more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google's Privacy Policy.
Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages (rated G).
5Your ad choices
In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a consent form appears before any personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings › Privacy options.
You can also reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your device's settings.
6Reminders
Reminders are off by default. If you turn them on, they are scheduled on your device only, and nothing is sent to us. Android asks for your permission before the game can show notifications.
7Permissions
The game uses these Android permissions:
- Internet and network state: to load ads.
- Advertising ID: for ads.
- Notifications, run at startup and wake lock: so reminders work, also after your phone restarts.
- Vibration: for optional haptic feedback.
The game does not access your phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location.
8Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9Your rights
We don't hold any data about you, so there is nothing for us to give you access to, correct or delete. For the data Google collects for ads, use the choices described above or Google's own tools.
If you live in the EU or EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
10Changes
If the way the game handles data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
